Situated in Ovacik the Aksu is a very well run and reasonably priced family run hotel. Although the village of Hisaronu is a 20 minute walk the dolmuses(mini buses) run past the hotel every 10 minutes or so from early morning until the bars close. The advantage of the location is that, even in high season, the hotel benefits from a cool breeze in the evenings more than making up for the lack of airconditioning. With a pool, bar and restaurant you've got pretty much all you need. If you'ld like to cook out by the pool one evening just have a word with the owner and he'll be happy to arrange a barbeque.
I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the obvious commitment of the owners to making sure everything is OK for the guests.
