 Beaches Accessible from Fethiye:
Calis - 5km north of Fethiye and served by dolmus and small boats, Calis is a 2km stretch of coarse sand, facing the bay and it's small islands to the West. Very busy in high season and equipped with a veritable warren of touristic shops, eateries and accommodation.
Gemiler - 7km of dirt road beyond Kaya Koyu it's walking or 4x4 if you would like to sample a slightly more exclusive slice of beach. A holiday village is probably in the offing which may open the place up, it happens. Opposite the beach is St Nicolas' island (Gemile Adasi), visited by day trip boats and touring yachts. |
